Purpose : to change the illumination of the hands and dial.
Proceed :
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click on “Select”, then click on “17 – Instruments”.
4 – Click on “Coding – 07 ”.
In the last digit of the coding (00xxxx?), enter the value according to the desired ignition:
5 = Hands off and dial off (with ignition and without lights)
6 = Hands on and dial off (with ignition and without lights)
7 = Hands off and dial on (with ignition and without lights)
8 = Hands on and dial on (with ignition and without lights, with variable lighting)
9 = Hands on and dial on (without ignition and without lights, without variable lighting)?
