
Purpose: to activate Audi Hill Start Assist.
Audi Hill Start Assist is a hill-start assistant. If you hold down the brake pedal for a while when the vehicle is stationary, braking pressure is maintained for a few seconds after releasing the brake pedal, making hill-starting easier.
Proceed :
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click on“Select”, then click on“03 – ABSBrakes ”.
4 – Click on“Codage- 07” then“Long Coding Helper”.
5 – Select Byte 22:
Bit 0: Check box

3 – Click on“Select”, then click on“03 – ABSBrakes ”.
4 – Click on“Adaptation – 10”.
5 – On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu.
In this drop-down menu, choose“Hill Start assistant”.
6 – On this same page, there is a second drop-down menu, but towards the bottom
of the page.
On this, choose the value according to your preference:
- “normal” (default value)
- “Early” (faster triggering)
- “Late” triggering
then validate.
