Purpose: to set the operating time for mirror and rear window defrosting.
Procedure:
1 – Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle’s diagnostics socket.
2 – Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.
Line 1:
3 – Click on “Select” then click on “09 – Cent. Elect.” .
4 – Click on “Adaptation – 10”.
5 – Select Channel 25 (Rear Window & Outside Mirror Heater Activation Time)
6 – Select the desired duration
Please note that a multiplier of 40 applies to the value you choose.
Ex: If you choose 15, the duration will be 15 * 40 = 600 sec.
