<p><strong>Procedure:</strong> <br/> 1 &#8211; Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle&#8217;s diagnostics socket.<br/><br/> 2 &#8211; Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.</p>

<p><strong>For MMI 2G :</strong><br/><br/><strong>3</strong> &#8211; Click on<strong>“Select”</strong>, then click on<strong>“77 &#8211; Telephone</strong>”.<br/><br/><strong>4</strong> &#8211; Click on<strong>“Adaptation &#8211; 10</strong>”.<br/><br/><strong>5</strong> &#8211; On this page, at the top, there is a drop-down menu.<br/>In this drop-down menu, choose Channel <strong>131</strong> or <strong>07</strong>.<br/><br/><strong>7</strong> &#8211; On this same page, there is a second drop-down menu at the bottom of the page.<br/>On this menu, choose a value expressed in<strong>“dB</strong>” (default value<strong>“0 dB</strong>”) then validate.</p>

<p><strong>4</strong> &#8211; Click on<strong>“Adaptation- 10</strong>”.</p>

<p><strong>5</strong> &#8211; Select <strong>Channel:</strong> <em>“Display correction of <em>consumptions and operating range</em>”.</em></p>

<p><em>Adjust consumption correction factor between 85% and 115%.</em> <em>(base value: 100)</em></p>

<p><em>Example 1: Calculation based on volume per distance (e.g. l/100 km): DIS: 9.3 l/100 km. Actual: 9.8 l/100 km. (100, 9,8 / 9,73 ? 105,38) Channel 3 will be changed from 100 to 105.<br/>Example 2: Calculation based on volume distance (e.g. MPG is: DIS: 23 MPG. Actual: 24 MPG. (100, 23/24 and 95.83) Channel 3 will be changed from 100 to 96</em>.</p>

<p><em>Example 3: the consumption announced by the ODB is 5.9l/100km, after checking it is actually 6.3l/100km.<br/>Calculation of the rate to be entered: (6.3 * 100) / 5.9 = 106.78. The rate used will be 107%, and the consumption announced by the ODB will be a pessimistic 0.1l/100km.</em></p>

<p>Consumption is immediately modified on the MMI.</p>
