<p><strong>Purpose:</strong> automatically lowers the passenger mirror when reversing.  </p>

<p>The mirror adjustment knob must be in position<strong>“R”</strong> for the passenger mirror to lower automatically.  </p>

<p><strong>Procedure:</strong> <br/> 1 &#8211; Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle&#8217;s diagnostics socket.</p>

<p>Byte <strong>3</strong>, check the box for<strong>“Bit 1: Microphone Diagnostics active</strong>”.</p>

<p>Byte <strong>7</strong>, uncheck the box for<strong>“Bit 1: Voice Control inactive</strong>”.<br/></p>

<p><strong>Procedure:</strong> <br/> 1 &#8211; Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle&#8217;s diagnostics socket.<br/><br/> 2 &#8211; Switch on the ignition, then run the VCDS program.<br/><br/><strong>Line 1:</strong><br/><br/> 3 &#8211; Click on &#8221; <strong>Select&#8221;</strong>, then click on &#8221; <strong>Select</strong> &#8221; and run the VCDS program. <strong><strong>37 &#8211; Navigation</strong></strong>&#8221; .</p>

<p><strong>4</strong> &#8211; Click on “<strong>Adaptation &#8211; 10</strong>”.</p>

<p><strong>5</strong> &#8211; Select <em><strong>Channel 43</strong> (Ejection Lock)</em> then set the value to <strong>1</strong> <em>(CD/DVD Ejection Lock active)</em></p>

<p><em>Restart the RNS 510.</em></p>

<p>Exit the module and save your changes. The RCD / RNS 510 must now be restarted for the changes to take effect. Press both arrows and the star for 6s.  </p>
