<p><strong>Purpose</strong>: to correct the fuel consumption display on the Trip Computer/Virtual Cockpit.  </p>

<p><em>Note: these changes affect the display of instantaneous consumption, average consumption and fuel quantity.</em> </p>

<p><strong>Procedure:</strong> <br/> 1 &#8211; Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle&#8217;s diagnostics socket.<br/><br/> 2 &#8211; Switch on the ignition, then run the VCDS program.<br/><br/><strong>Line 1:</strong><br/><br/> 3 &#8211; Click on “<strong>Select</strong>”, then click on <strong>“17 &#8211; Instruments”</strong>. <strong>Procedure:</strong> 1 &#8211; Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle&#8217;s diagnostics socket.</p>

<p><strong>4</strong> &#8211; Click on<strong>“Adaptation- 10</strong>”.</p>

<p><strong>5</strong> &#8211; Select <strong>Channel:</strong> <em>“Display correction of <em>consumptions and operating range</em>”.</em></p>

<p><em>Adjust consumption correction factor between 85% and 115%.</em> <em>(base value: 100)</em></p>

<p><em>Example 1: Calculation based on volume per distance (e.g. l/100 km): DIS: 9.3 l/100 km. Actual: 9.8 l/100 km. (100, 9,8 / 9,73 ? 105,38) Channel 3 will be changed from 100 to 105.<br/>Example 2: Calculation based on volume distance (e.g. MPG is: DIS: 23 MPG. Actual: 24 MPG. (100, 23/24 and 95.83) Channel 3 will be changed from 100 to 96</em>.</p>

<p><em>Example 3: the consumption announced by the ODB is 5.9l/100km, after checking it is actually 6.3l/100km.<br/>Calculation of the rate to be entered: (6.3 * 100) / 5.9 = 106.78. The rate used will be 107%, and the consumption announced by the ODB will be a pessimistic 0.1l/100km.</em></p>

<p>Consumption is immediately modified on the MMI.</p>

<p><strong>Purpose:</strong> To deactivate / remove MirrorLink from SmartLink on the MIB. The Mirrorlink service is no longer available since June 1, 2020 on Android natively.  For direct connection to Android Auto. <br/><br/><br/><strong>Proceed :</strong> <br/><strong>1</strong> &#8211; Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle&#8217;s diagnostics socket.<br/><br/><strong>2</strong> &#8211; Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.<br/><br/><strong>Line 1:</strong><br/><br/><strong>3</strong> &#8211; Click on<strong>“Select”</strong> then click on<strong>“5F &#8211; Electr. information</strong>”.<br/><br/><strong>4</strong> &#8211; Click on<strong>&#8220;Security Access &#8211; 16</strong>&#8221; then enter the code<strong>&#8220;20103</strong>&#8220;.<br/><br/><strong>5</strong> &#8211; Click on<strong>“Adaptation &#8211; 10</strong>”.<br/><br/><strong>6</strong> &#8211; On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu.<br/>In this drop-down menu, choose<strong>&#8220;Vehicle configuration-Mirror_link</strong>&#8220;.<br/><br/><strong>7</strong> &#8211; On the same page, you&#8217;ll find a second drop-down menu at the bottom<br/>of the page.<br/>On this menu, select<strong>&#8220;Disabled</strong>&#8221; and confirm.</p>

<p><strong>Purpose:</strong> turns interior lights (door knobs, dashboard, center console) on and off gradually. By default, interior lights are switched on and off immediately with the headlights. Activating this function will cause a slow fade effect each time the interior lights are switched on or off. (Interior Light Fade in/out)     <br/><br/><strong>Proceed :</strong> <br/><strong>1</strong> &#8211; Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle&#8217;s diagnostics socket.<br/><br/><strong>2</strong> &#8211; Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.<br/><br/><strong>Line 1:</strong><br/><br/><strong>3</strong> &#8211; Click on<strong>“Select</strong>”, then click on<strong>“09 &#8211; Cent. Elect.</strong>”.<br/><br/><strong>4</strong> &#8211; Click on<strong>“Security Access &#8211; 16</strong>” then enter the code<strong>“31347</strong>”.<br/><br/><strong>5</strong> &#8211; Click on<strong>“Adaptation &#8211; 10</strong>”.<br/><br/><strong>6</strong> &#8211; On this page, at the very top, there is a drop-down menu.<br/>In this drop-down menu, choose<strong>“Interior lighting-KL58 Einschalten mit Rampe</strong>”.<br/><br/><strong>7</strong> &#8211; On this same page, there is a second drop-down menu at the bottom<br/>of the page.<br/>On this menu, select<strong>“active</strong>” and confirm.</p>
