<p><strong>Procedure:</strong> <br/> 1 &#8211; Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle&#8217;s diagnostics socket.<br/><br/> 2 &#8211; Switch on the ignition, then run the VCDS program.<br/><br/><strong>Line 1:</strong><br/><br/> 3 &#8211; Click on “<strong>Select</strong>”, then click on<strong>“17 &#8211; Instruments</strong>” . 1 &#8211; Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle&#8217;s diagnostics socket.</p>

<p><strong>4</strong> &#8211; Click on<strong>“Coding 07</strong>” .</p>

<p><strong>5</strong> &#8211;  <em>The first two digits of the code (<strong>??</strong>xxx) are used to modify the Instrument module options. To remove the ice-washer indicator, subtract <strong>04</strong> from these digits. </em></p>

<p>In the example above, the initial coding (with washer indicator) is: <strong>07232</strong></p>

<p>To remove the windscreen washer indicator, simply recode as follows: <strong>03232</strong> <em>(07 &#8211; 04 = 05)</em></p>

<p>To activate the ice washer indicator: +04</p>

<p><strong>Displaying instantaneous digital speed? it&#8217;s possible! </strong>  No need to use your VCDS VAG-COM cable for this tutorial.  </p>

<p><strong>What&#8217;s it for?</strong></p>

<p>In the hidden Audi Climatronic menu, you can easily access secret diagnostic readings such as battery voltage, car speed, engine rpm, sensor readings, system DTC codes and much more.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Audi Climatronic single-zone hidden menu procedure</h3>

<p>To display some of the car&#8217;s operating parameters on the air-conditioning display:</p>

<ol class="wp-block-list">
<li>Simultaneously press the air recirculation button and the upward ventilation button.</li>



<li>The display shows “1C” (channel 1 is the default).</li>



<li>Use the temperature change knob to select the desired function. Press “+” to access the upper channel and “-” to access the lower channel. </li>



<li>For example, for real-time engine oil temperature, you need to display channel 51 (51C on the screen).</li>



<li>Confirm the function by pressing the air recirculation button.</li>



<li>The selected channel&#8217;s information is then displayed on the climate control screen.</li>
