<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><br/><strong>Purpose:</strong> to adjust the selectable modes of the air-conditioning system. Depending on the vehicle or model year, either the “ECO” or “MAX” air-conditioning mode is activated. You can activate the other mode.    </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><em>Note: Unfortunately, both modes are not possible at the same time.</em><br/><br/><br/><strong>Proceed :</strong> <br/><strong>1</strong> &#8211; Engine off, ignition off, connect your official VAG-COM VCDS cable to the computer, then plug the other end into your vehicle&#8217;s diagnostics socket.<br/><br/><strong>2</strong> &#8211; Switch on the ignition and run the VCDS program.<br/><br/><strong>Line 1:</strong><br/><br/><strong>3</strong> &#8211; Click on<strong>&#8220;Select</strong>&#8221; and then click on &#8221; &#8220;.<strong><strong><strong>08 </strong>&#8211; Air conditioning</strong></strong>&#8220;.<br/><br/><strong>4</strong> &#8211; Click on<strong>“Coding &#8211; 09</strong>”.<br/><br/><strong>5 &#8211;</strong> Select byte <strong>8</strong> <br/>Enable (for AC Eco) or Disable (for AC Max) bit<strong> 1</strong><em> “ACmax/ECO”</em>.</p>
